CAFCC: Zamalek forward Jaziri- We aim to win all the tournaments we are participating in

Zamalek striker Saifeddine Jaziri indicated that he seeks to focus more after today’s performance against Nigeria’s Enyimba in the CAF Confederation Cup.


Zamalek defeated Enyimba 3-1 in the sixth and final round of the group stage in the CAF Confederation Cup with Jaziri scoring twice during the match. The Tunisian forward appeared to be on his way out of the club but appears to be earning his way back into the team under manager Christian Gross.


Speaking after the game, Jaziri said:


“Football is full of challenges, and I am seeking to focus more in the upcoming period to showcase my best form. Zamalek has a busy schedule with several matches in various competitions and we aim to win all the tournaments we are participating in.”


This victory brought Zamalek’s tally to 14 points in the top spot of Group D.


Final Group D Standings


1. Zamalek (Egypt)– 14 points


2. Al Masry (Egypt) – 9 points


3. Enyimba (Nigeria) – 5 points


4. Black Bulls (Mozambique) – 4 points


With these standings, both Zamalek and Al Masry advance to the CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinals.
