Young Africans (Yanga SC) head coach Sead Ramovic has revealed their mission is to beat Al Hilal in their Caf Champions League fixture on Sunday.

The Tanzanian giants will come up against a Sudanese side that has already qualified with two matches to spare at the Cheikha Ouldi Boidiya Stadium in Nouakchott, Mauritania. Yanga still stand a chance to qualify if they win their remaining two matches.

“Our mission is very clear, we need to show that we get goals and win the game, we are playing against a very strong team especially in their defence line and for that reason we must be clinical infront of the goal and try as hard as we can to use the chances that we create in the game,” Ramovic told Pan-Africa Football.

“For the last few months, we have made a huge stride and became a very good team. This is because of what we have been trying to do and what are continuing to do as a team. We don’t want to be the first team to concede in the game.

“We will try everything possible to make sure we reach our goal of the competition, to qualify for the quarter-finals. We know very well that the most important thing is to win the game and as a team we are taking that with a lot of seriousness.”

As it stands, the Timu ya Mwananchi are sitting third with four points accumulated from one win, one draw and two defeats. Al Hilal are at the top with 10 points while MC Alger, whom Yanga will face at home in their final group match are third with eight points.
