Coach Mushin Etrugral celebrated his 400th coaching career game after his Cape Town City beat Richards Bay 2-1 in a Betway Premiership match at Athlone Stadium in Cape Town, South Africa, on Friday.

The Turkish mentor wrote on his Facebook page that he was very proud to have won on the day he achieved the 400th game milestone.

“Every moment, every challenge and every victory—each one shaped me. This journey means the world to me. Here’s to more memories ahead. Thank you, boys, for the victory and for making it even more special,” he wrote.

The third consecutive league win under the veteran mentor elevated City to fifth position in the log table, quite a change in fortunes compared to the struggles under Eric Tinkler who was sacked weeks ago.

The Turkish mentor has started his caretaker reign promisingly beating Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates with a 1-0 loss to Marumo Gallants being the only setback.

City will look forward to the next game when they face in-form Sekhukhune United in the Nedbank Cup Last 32 encounter. Bay remained stuck in 14th-position on the log table.

Natal Rich Boys, as Bay are also called, were the first to score through Yanela Mbuthuma in the first half before City responded through French striker Amadou Soukouna’s second-half brace.
