Ghana striker Albert Amoah has promised to give his all when they host rivals, Nigeria in the 2024 Championship for Africa Nations qualifiers.
The Black Galaxies will host Nigeria at the Accra Sports Stadium in the first leg before a reverse encounter at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo a week later. Albert Amoah, who plays for Asante Kotoko is confident that, the team will display a brilliant performance on Sunday, December 22.
“Looking at the start of our preparations and how far we have come, I think Ghanaians should expect something different from us. We have really prepared well and we are ready to give them what they want and make them happy.
“How they cherish the Black Stars and everything, we will bring that love back so I’m urging them to come in their numbers so that we will give them what they want,” Albert Amoah said.
Black Galaxies goalkeeper, Benjamin Asare says they need to win the first leg by a big margin in order to make the second leg a formality. “We need the fans to come in their number because it is a must win game against Nigeria.
“We want to achieve something with the national team so that Ghanaians will see that the home based players are equally good. Anything can happen in football but we need to prepare and we will give victory to the fans,” Benjamin Asare said.
