CHAN 2024: Senegal's Local Lions squad revealed for qualifying encounter with Liberia

As the reigning champions of the African Nations Championship (CHAN), Senegal on their way to defend their title, they will have a crucial second-round qualifier against Liberia.


The Lions of Teranga will travel to Liberia for the first leg on December 22, before hosting the return leg at the Abdoulaye Wade Stadium in Dakar on December 28.


Senegal’s head coach Souleymane Diallo has announced a squad of 21 players for the first leg game, from some of the nation’s domestic clubs for the coming clash against Liberia. Current CAF Confederation Cup participants ASC Jaraaf contribute four players including striker Almamy Mathew Fall who currently leads Senegal's Ligue 1 with five goals.
