Coupe de Tunisie: Espérance thump second tier Kasserine

The Round of 32 stage of the Coupe de Tunisie is complete after Espérance ST's thrashing of second tier side Kasserine by a 6-0 score on Wednesday.
With the fixture coming soon after EST's elimination from the CAF Champions League quarterfinals by Mamelodi Sundowns, a rotated squad had no problems against a team competing for promotion from Ligue 2. Achraf Jabri's scored twice, including a sensational strike for EST's second goal (video above) while Larry Azouni also added two goals.
After keeping the match scoreless for close to thirty minutes, Kasserine fell behind to Azouni's first goal in the 28th minute and the floodgates opened up. Jabri scored both his goals before halftime before two goals early in the second half destroyed the morale of the Kasserine resistance.
EST qualify to the Round of 16 where they will face another second division club, CS Hammam-Lif. Round of 16 fixtures are set to take place at the end of the month (April 30 and May 1).
