Ghana Premier League club Dreams FC have expressed joy over the capture of Hearts of Oak duo Suraj Seidu and Yaw Amankwaah Baafi on loan for the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign.

Baafi was announced by the club on Thursday while Seidu's loan was announced on Friday, boosting the Eastern Region club with acquisitions who have plenty of experience in the Premier League as well as Ghana national teams.

The 24-year-old Suraj represented Ghana's Black Meteors at the 2022 African Nations Championship (CHAN) while Baafi represented Ghana at the 2022 Toulon Tournament. Despite their relatively young ages the two players have combined to make over 100 Ghana Premier League appearances for Hearts of Oak.

The versatile Baafi joins the former Ghana FA Cup winners to help strengthen their squad in the ongoing season. The 21-year-old is expected to play an important role in steering the Still Believe boys out of the relegation zone. The club announced the signing with delight on Friday:

"We’re delighted to announce the signing of Amankwah Baafi on loan from Hearts of Oak until the end of the season," wrote Dreams FC, confirming his arrival. Amankwah Baafi will take the opportunity to revive his career after being relegated to the background at Hearts of Oak.

Dreams FC have equally raided the camp of the Phobians for yet another loan signing of forward, Seidu Suraj. The 24-year-old was very instrumental for the record FA Cup holders but fell down the perking order under coach Aboubakar Ouattara this season, leading to his eventual departure.

Dreams FC sit 15th on the league table with 17 points, same as Karela United and Legon Cities in the drop zone. The 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup semifinalists will host Basake Holy Stars on Sunday at the Tuba Astro Turf for Matchday 19 of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.
