Brentford FC moved up to 10th place on the English Premier League table following Friday's lopsided 4-0 victory at Leicester City with Brentford's star attacking duo heavily involved.

DR Congo national team star Yoane Wissa opened the scoring while Cameroon forward Bryan Mbeumo contributed a goal and an assist against a hapless Leicester defense. Wissa showed excellent instincts to react quickly and finish from a brilliant pass by Mikkel Damsgaard in the 17th minute.

It only got worse for hosts Leicester, who have lost five of their last six matches and now have conceded the most goals in the Premier League (59 goals). Ten minutes after Wissa's opener it was Mbeumo's turn to put his name on the list of scorers. Brentford broke out on a counter attack and the Cameroon star had plenty of space to cut inside from the right wing and power in his club-leading 14th goal of the season.

At this point, jeers began to rain down on the Leicester players from their home supporters and five minutes later their misery was increased. Mbeumo curled in a perfect free kick service from the left wing to find the head of Christian Norgaard and it was 3-0 to the visitors with barely thirty minutes gone.

Leicester were never in the match and former Liverpool player Fabio Carvalho added one more late on for Brentford, who have shown signs of brilliance this season but remain in the middle of the pack due to inconsistency at times. Leicester, who had Nigerian midfielder Wilfried Ndidi and Ghana legend Jordan Ayew in the eleven today as well as Zambia star Patson Daka on the bench, remain second from last place.
