Egyptian club approves Ghanaian player's transfer to Al-Nasr SC Benghazi

Egyptian Premier League club Al Ittihad Alexandria has announced the approval of the transfer of Ghanaian attacker Benjamin Boateng to Libyan club Al-Nasr SC Benghazi.


The Egyptian club accepted the financial offer and the exact value of the deal has not been disclosed.


Al-Nasr SC Benghazi, currently in second place in the Libyan Premier League’s Group A with 17 points, is just one point behind league leaders Al-Akhdar after eight rounds of competition. They are the defending champions in Libya's top flight.


In their official statement, Al Ittihad Alexandria also revealed that head coach Talaat Youssef is reviewing the CV's of several players in preparation for reinforcing their team during the ongoing winter transfer window.
