Eredivisie: Hadj Moussa, Osman power Feyenoord to big win

Ghanaian youngster Osman Ibrahim scored along with Algeria national team attacker Anis Hadj Moussa as Feyenoord hammered FC Groningen 4-1 in a Week 27 clash at De Kuip on Wednesday.
The Rotterdam based club were looking to climb into 3rd on the league table and needed the win to close the gap on second placed PSV Eindhoven who have collected 58 points.
Feyenoord shot their noses in front courtesy of 23-year-old Algeria forward Anis Hadj Moussa just 10 minutes into the encounter.
The home side continued their incessant pressure, firing from all cylinders which saw Groningen crumble under the high pressing. Brazil forward Igor Paixao latched on to an assist from Jakub Moder to slot home Feyenoord’s second goal of the day, dislodging the concentration of the visitors.
The visitors did not hide for long when they came out of their shells four minutes after conceding the second goal to pull one back through the boot of young Dutch forward Jorg Schreuders on the 37th minute.
The score remained 2-1 moving into the half time break with Feyenoord’s Julian Carranza having a goal ruled offside on the stroke of half time.
Igor Paixao returned for the second half of the game much energized, scoring his second and Feyenoord’s third as late as the 82nd minute with Givairo Read on the assist.
Former Arsenal and Manchester United striker Robin Van Persie, who is now in charge of Feyenoord, introduced Ghana international Ibrahim Osman for Antoni Milambo on the 65th minute to add some bite upfront.
The 20-year-old Ghana international made his presence felt with an icing on the cake, wrapping up a 4-1 score line to send Feyenoord into third on the table with 53 points.
Osman has now scored 3 goals from 18 matches with two assists to his credit. Hadj Moussa on the other hand has 6 goals in 23 league games this season.
