Espérance Sportive de Tunis announced that Brazilian striker Rodrigo Rodrigues will be sidelined for four weeks following a muscle injury sustained during the Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1 match against Club Africain.
After undergoing medical tests, it was confirmed that Rodrigues suffered a muscle injury that requires four weeks of rest. Following this period, he will undergo further medical examinations.
The 28-year-old former Juventude player, who has not been the most prolific striker but plays an important role as a target forward in the attack, will be unavailable for an important stretch of matches for Espérance. EST has several fixtures scheduled and Rodrigues is expected to miss the following games:

Rodrigues has participated in six Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1 matches this season, scoring two goals. He has also played three matches in the CAF Champions League without providing a goal or assist.
