
The Ethiopian Football Federation (EFF) has moved Ethiopian Cup third round fixtures away from capital city Addis Ababa. Thrid round games will commence on Wednesday, February 12.
Six games were initially set to be staged at the Abebe Bikila Memorial Stadium in Addis. EFF didn't disclose as to why the venue was changed. Matches will now be take place in Sebeta, 22 kilometers away from the capital. Ethiopian Cup games will be staged at Sebeta Stadium and Hawassa Artificial Stadium.
Pan-Africa Football understands Addis Ababa will host the annual African Union summit and authorities notified the EFF to move the games out of the city. Addis Ababa previously hosted matches from the Round of 32 fixtures.
