In Week 22 of the Ethiopian Premier League, Bahirdar Ketema emerged victorious over Hadiya Hosaina. In the other fixture played later in the day, Sidama Coffee and Adama Ketema settled for a scoreless draw.

Bahirdar Ketema struck late to win a crucial top of the table clash against Hadiya Hosaina. The Waves of Tana scored in second half stoppage time to take home three points. Long serving midfielder Fikremikale Alemu’s header gave Bahirdar the win.

Bahirdar move up to second place with 33 points. Hadiya Hosaina are fourth with 32 points following their defeat. Hosaina have only won once in their last seven league outings.

Sidama Coffee and Adama Ketema played out a goalless draw later on Monday. Adama could have temporarily gone out of the relegation zone but their misfiring form let them down once again. Sidama Coffee are 11th with 26 points whilst Adama occupies 16th position with 20 points.
