Adama Ketema coach Abdi Buli stated his dissatisfaction with the refereeing after his side fell 2-1 to Saint George in their Ethiopian Premier League 13th round fixture played on Thursday. Adama enjoyed huge home support but failed to protect their stoppage time leveler.

Amanuel Erbo's opening goal was a controversial one after miscommunication between the referee Biniam Workagegnehu and his assistant. The assistant referee waved for a foul but the referee gave the decision to hand Saint George the goal. Adama keeper Natnael Tefera was seen distracted with the call before Erbo struck the opener.

Speaking to Soccer Ethiopia after the match, Buli said the decision changed everything for them. "It was a game of two different halves. We tried to mount pressure on them in the second interval. The decision changed the sprit of the game. I don't expect such a mistake in the Premier League. These kind of errors force others to replicate it. We can't be silent about it, it forces you to speak out."

Buli's team lost after dreadful defending handed Saint George the win close to full time. Buli took charge of the club during the summer and started the league season on a bright note. But the club's inconsistent form continues to hinder their efforts to move up the table. They are currently 12th with 15 points.
