Defending champions Young Africans (Yanga SC) have been drawn to face Coastal Union in the Round of 32 of this year’s Federation Cup competition.
During the draw conducted in Dar es Salaam, under the supervision of Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) Competition Manager Baraka Kizuguto, the winner of the Yanga versus Coastal Union fixture will face either Police Tanzania or Songea in the Round of 16.
While Yanga will face a Premiership side, their rivals Simba SC, who eliminated Kilimanjaro Stars to progress to the Round of 32, will face minnows TMA Stars with the winner from the fixture set to meet either Tanzania Prisons or Big Man.
In another fixture, Azam will entertain Mbeya City at Azam Complex with the winner drawn to face either Mtibwa Sugar or Town Stars in the Round of 16.
Yanga are the defending champions having defeated Azam FC 6-5 on penalties. The Round of 32 matches will be played between March 4 and 14.
