Algeria and Feyenoord Rotterdam defensive midfielder Ramiz Zerrouki has been ruled out for an unannounced period due to injury, confirmed head coach Brian Priske during a press conference ahead of Feyenoord's UEFA Champions League clash against Bayern Munich.
As a result, Zerrouki will miss Wednesday's match set to take place at 8 PM GMT. Feyenoord is going to host Bayern Munich as part of the seventh round of the UEFA Champions League league phase.
According to Feyenoord’s official website, Priske revealed that Zerrouki will not be available for the Bayern Munich encounter and is expected to remain sidelined for a longer duration, though the exact nature of the injury has not been disclosed.
Ramiz Zerrouki has featured for Feyenoord in 22 matches across all competitions this season, contributing one goal and one assist. The 26-year-old Algeria national team midfielder, born in Amsterdam, was acquired by the Dutch giants from fellow Eredivisie side FC Twente for over €7 million ahead of the 2023-24 season.
