FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers: Sheryl Botes summons Uganda’s Teen Cranes squad for Namibia duty

Coach Sheryl Botes Ulanda has announced a provisional 39-player squad for the Uganda U17 Women’s National Team as they prepare for their upcoming FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup Qualifier against Namibia.


The team will commence residential training on Wednesday, 8th January 2025, at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru to gear up for the two-leg encounter. Namibia will host the first leg on 16th January 2025, while the return leg is scheduled for 19th January 2025 at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo.


The aggregate winner will proceed to face Kenya in the next qualification round. The camp will focus on enhancing the team’s tactical and technical skills as they aim for a strong start in the qualification campaign.
