The Uganda U17 Women’s National Team, the Teen Cranes, remains fully focused as they intensify preparations for their crucial FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup 2025 qualifier against Kenya.
With the first leg set for 8th March at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo, and the return fixture in Kenya on 16th March, the team is determined to secure a strong result in the two-legged tie.
Assimwe Zidah Backs Team’s Hard Work to Pay Off
Teen Cranes defender Zidah Assimwe, who features for Boni Consilii Girls’ Vocational Secondary School, is brimming with confidence ahead of the encounter.
“So far, the training has been intense and productive. We are working hard with the right attitude and commitment to meet the goals set by our coaches,” Assimwe shared.
She further emphasized the team’s determination to succeed. “We are specifically focused on the match against Kenya on 8th March. As players, we are dedicated to winning and will continue pushing ourselves to ensure we achieve our target.”
With the squad putting in the effort, the Teen Cranes aim to make a strong statement in their pursuit of a World Cup spot.
