Egyptian star Omar Marmoush scored a hat-trick in a fourteen minutes span as Manchester City cruised to a 4-0 English Premier League home victory over Newcastle United on Saturday.

Marmoush scored his first goals in City colors, opening the scoring for the hosts in the 19th minute with a clever lob over Newcastle goalkeeper Martin Dubravka. He then struck again five minutes later, receiving a pass from Ilkay Gundogan and cutting inside from the left wing to fire low past Dubravka.

Marmoush was not done. Nine minutes later he completed his hat-trick in the 33rd minute. Brazilian winger Savinho embarked on a blistering run down the right wing to the touchline before cutting back low for Marmoush to hit a first-time effort to complete a dominant first half for the Citizens.

Manchester City went on to add one more goal through James McAtee in the final minutes of the match. Marmoush could potentially play a major role for City on Wednesday when they travel to Madrid for the second leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 32 clash with Real Madrid. Star striker Erling Haaland was forced off against Newcastle due to injury which may provide an opportunity for Marmoush to be in Pep Guardiola's starting lineup.
