Congolese player Fiston Mayele, striker for Pyramids FC, expressed the team’s readiness to face Mali’s Djoliba in the CAF Champions League. He emphasized that all players are fully prepared and eager to secure their second consecutive victory in the competition, aiming to reach six points.

Pyramids will take on Djoliba on Sunday at 4:00 PM GMT at the March 26 Stadium in Bamako, Mali, in the second round of the group stage.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Mayele highlighted the team’s strong motivation to win against Djoliba. He stressed that this victory would help maintain their position at the top of the group and bring them closer to advancing to the next stage of the competition. He assured that the team is fully prepared and determined to deliver their best performance.

Mayele also pointed out the challenges the team has faced due to the lack of adequate rest following the conclusion of the previous season. He explained that the team had to transition directly into the new season, competing both continentally and domestically. Despite the fatigue and the tight schedule, the players are giving their maximum effort to progress in all competitions.

Mayele concluded by reaffirming the team’s focus and determination to achieve a positive result against Djoliba, keeping their CAF Champions League campaign on track.
