AFC Leopards goalkeeper Abubakar Musha has promised to deliver more for the club following his debut in the 4-2 humiliating defeat against FC Talanta in an FKF Premier League fixture last Saturday.

The youngster was a second half substitute replacing regular starter Humphrey Katasi, in a game Ingwe failed to take advantage of a struggling side and suffered their fifth defeat of the season.

“I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude. To God almighty, AFC management, my Coach, players and my esteemed fans for believing in me and always being there for the support,” explained Musha in a statement seen by Pan-Africa Football.

“My coach for believing in me and giving me a chance in the previous match...my fellow players for giving me a backbone too. I promise to give out the best out of me and making it a success.”

He added: “Being my first match since I joined the best team ever, I learnt a lot and I promise my team to make it to more trophies. Thanks so much to everyone who supported me and God Bless AFC Leopards.”

The defeat saw Ingwe drop to eighth on the 18-team league table with 22 points from 15 matches. They have won six matches, drawn four and lost five.
