Tusker FC midfielder Chrispine Erambo has been named Tusker FC Player of the Month for February 2025 following an outstanding series of performances in the past month.
The award, determined by votes from fellow players, recognizes the most consistent and impactful player for Tusker over a given period and gets to walk home with a personalized trophy and a shopping voucher worth Ksh 50,000.
Erambo emerged as the winner after receiving the highest number of votes (16) from a total of 29 cast, edging out fellow nominees striker Ryan Ogam, who received seven votes and former midfielder Siwa Shaphan who has since moved to Tanzania received six votes.
The selection process, overseen by the Brewers' technical bench led by the coach and the analysis team, initially identified 17 standout performers from Tusker FC’s past 12 matches.
The shortlist was then narrowed down to three finalists based on performance metrics both in matches and training before the players themselves voted to determine the winner.
Expressing his gratitude after receiving the award, Erambo dedicated his win to his teammates, acknowledging their role in his success. “I am truly honored to receive this award. It means a lot to be recognized by my teammates, the people I train and play with every day.
“Football is a team effort, and I couldn’t have done this without their support. This motivates me to keep pushing harder and contributing to the team’s success,” said Erambo.
Tusker is currently lying in second position of the FKF Premier League table tied on 38 points with the Kenya Police FC, who occupy the top spot-on superior goal difference.
The two teams battled to a goalless draw in an intense top-of-the-table clash at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos, last week on Saturday. Tusker will now shift focus to their upcoming showdown against Gor Mahia on Sunday, February 16 at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos.
