Ugandan experienced defender Denis Iguma is eager to make an instant impact as he prepares for his Tusker FC debut in the Kenya Premier League clash against KCB FC this evening at Kenyatta Stadium.
Fresh from his official unveiling this week on a one-year contract from Uganda Premier League side Police FC, Iguma has vowed to give his all for the Brewers. “I am here to win trophies, I am here to work hard for the badge, and to me, every game is a final. I will always give my best during my time here. Please come one, come all to support us,” Iguma told Tusker FC media.
With vast experience playing for the Uganda Cranes as well as clubs like SC Villa and KCCA FC in Uganda and Kazma SC and Al Ahed abroad, Iguma's arrival is expected to bolster Tusker’s defensive setup as they seek to dethrone defending champions Gor Mahia.
Tusker currently sit second on the table with 36 points from 18 games, level with leaders Police FC. Their opponents KCB FC, meanwhile are fourth with 28 points from 17 matches, making this an important clash in the title race.
