Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League champions Gor Mahia have appointed Sinisa Mihic as their new head coach.
Mihic comes in to replace Brazilian Leonardo Martins Neiva, who was fired at the start of the 2024.25 season after only overseeing six matches.
“We are pleased to announce Sinisa Mihic from Croatia as our new head coach; to be assisted by Zedekiah 'Zico' Otieno and Michael Nam. Welcome to Gor Mahia coach Sinisa,” read a statement from the record Kenyan champions.
Meanwhile, Posta Rangers goalkeeper Bixente Otieno was admitted to the hospital for overnight checks following the concussion he sustained in their 2-1 defeat to Gor Mahia at Dandora Stadium.
The goalkeeper was rushed to a hospital in Buruburu after picking up the injury late in the second half. Sources at Posta indicate that CT scans have not exposed anything of grave concern, and thus he is expected to be discharged.
