Former AFC Leopards head coach Pieter de Jongh has been appointed the head coach of Botswana Premier League outfit Jwaneng Galaxy.
A statement from the club seen by Pan-Africa Football confirmed the appointment of the Dutch tactician: “We announce the appointment of the head coach Pieter de Jongh from Holland. de Jongh holds the prestigious UEFA A License. He has vast experience in coaching African teams and is poised to elevate Jwaneng Galaxy to new heights, both domestically and internationally.
“The coach will be assisted by Seemo Mpatane, who also joined the club on a two-year contract.”
Further, the club announced they had mutually agreed to part ways with assistant coach and caretaker coach Blessing Moyo and goalkeeper coach Mendy Mooketsi with immediate effect.
“The club would like to thank the duo for their hard work, dedication, and contributions to the team during their time with the club. We wish them the very best in their future endeavors and success in their respective careers."
“The club remains focused on its goals for the upcoming season and will continue to work towards achieving its objectives.”
