Free Agents head coach Olaitan Oladeru has promised to deliver a do-or-die battle when they face Betway Premiership side Kaizer Chiefs in the Round of 32 fixture of the Nedbank Cup at FNB Stadium on Sunday.

Amakhosi drew the Tshwane-based team, which competes in South Africa's third tier known as the SAFA Second Division, two weeks ago at the bank’s head offices in Sandton. Ahead of the fixture, coach Oladeru believes they have nothing to lose against Chiefs and will give it all to get a positive result.

“We set standards, we already a loser if we say we going there with nothing to lose, let’s just go play and leave the stadium,” Oladeru told the media.

“We set a goal, we going out there to play all our minds and as you can see we are going to play with human, one heart, two lungs, blood running through veins all the things that need a sportman is what they have, they two lungs we have two lungs the same way so."

He continued: “We just going to whatever thing that is going to happen. When I heard the advert of the tournament, they said David versus Goliath so you know anything can happen. Message to Kaizer Chiefs, there’s no warning, we have to respect the brand as one of the biggest teams in the country, but they must prepare.”

Historically, Amakhosi have dominated this tournament, clinching the title a record 13 times since its inception in the early 1970s but having suffered a disappointing exit in the round of 32 at the hands of Milford FC in a penalty shootout last season, the Glamour Boys, will be determined to avoid a repeat of the same.
