Nigeria national team star striker Victor Osimhen has received rave reviews from fellow international midfielder Peter Etebo following Osimhen's red-hot performance in the Turkish Super Lig.
Osimhen has been in blistering form for Turkish giants Galatasaray since moving on loan from Italian Serie A club Napoli. The lanky striker has so far scored 12 goals from 16 league matches this season.
Etebo, 29, who plays for fellow Turkish top flight side Gençlerbirliği, described Osimhen as one of the best forwards in the world while highlighting his impressive performances for Galatasaray.
"Osimhen is one of the best forwards in the world. I think the football community also accepts this," former Galatasaray midfielder Etebo said in an interview with AA as quoted by Fanatik.
"I think he did a good thing by coming to Galatasaray. He is a very willing player on the field, who gives everything for his team. He continues to score goals. I think he will continue to score goals. I think he will do very successful things in his future career."
"Osimhen is a very good friend of mine both on and off the field. He is currently at Galatasaray and I think he is having a good time," Etebo said. Osimhen has racked up 22 goal contributions (17 goals and 5 assists) in 22 appearances across all competitions for Galatasaray this season.
