Ghana international forward Antoine Semenyo increased his scoring tally in the English Premier League with a goal and a breathtaking performance for Bournemouth on Sunday. His performance culminated in Bournemouth humiliating Manchester United by 3-0 in week 17 at Old Trafford on Sunday.
The visitors started off well when Ryan Christie’s free kick saw Dean Huijsen flick in a perfect header on the 29th minute. On the 61st minute, Dutch international Justin Kluivert ran his way into the penalty area forcing Manchester United defender Nousair Mazroaui to hack him down. Kluivert elected himself to take kick and he did not waste time in sending Cameroon goalkeeper, Andre Onana the wrong way for Bournemouth’s second goal.
Just two minutes after the second goal, Burkina Faso forward Dango Ouattara slalomed into Manchester United goal before setting up Semenyo who tapped in for the Cherries third and the final goal of the day.
Semenyo, 24, has now scored five goals in 16 league appearances with one assist this season for Bournemouth.
