Hearts of Oak were pegged back by lowly Dreams FC at the Legon Sports Stadium on Saturday evening in a Week 24 clash from the Ghana Premier League.
The continental club masters were looking to go top of the table having defeated Young Apostles by 2-0 last weekend at the same venue. However, the record FA Cup holders’ aim was shattered very early in the game after a well floated free kick saw Abdul Razak Salisu head past new Black Stars invitee and Phobians keeper Benjamin Asare in the 3rd minute.
The solitary strike gave Dreams FC, who were last two season’s CAF Confederation Cup quarter finalists the needed three points to climb a notch above the relegation zone into 12th with 24 points.
The remaining games to be cleared on Sunday, March 16 will determine Dreams' position while Hearts of Oak remain third on 36 points.
Earlier on Saturday afternoon, record Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko fought back from a goal down to settle for a 1-1 draw at Samartex.

In the final game on Saturday, newly promoted Young Apostles recorded a 1-0 victory against strugglers Accra Lions with Hussein Issah getting the only goal on the day.
