Medeama SC battered Dreams FC by 4-0 in match day 27 at the Tarkwa TnA Park on Friday, 11 April to move into the top five of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.
The Mauve and Yellow ended Dreams FC’s eight-game unbeaten run with Kingsley Braye being the hero of the day after bagging a hat-trick with one of the goals coming from the penalty spot.
The victory for Medeama was a quick recovery from last week’s narrow 0-1 defeat to Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium in week 26. Mubarik Yussif also converted from the spot to cap off a commanding team performance.
The result sees Medeama climb into the top four on the league table joint on 41 points with Heart of Lions after 26 games and they will now prepare to face Heart of Lions in their next fixture. Dreams FC, who drop to eighth, will aim to bounce back when they travel to face Nations FC.
