Medeama SC jumped into the top four, following their comeback win over Holy Stars in a week 21 outstanding fixture on Tuesday.
The Mauve and Yellow rallied from a goal down to beat the Premier League new boys by 2-1 at the Tarkwa TnA Park, marking 38 points accumulation, moving into 4th position after 24 league games.
Head coach of Medeama, Ibrahim Tanko has been sharing his thoughts on the game and the chances, including a penalty miss on the afternoon.
“I think it was very good, we had a lot of chances in the first half that minimum we had to score two or three but we kept the composure and then in the second half definitely after the goal and we tried to score another one but unfortunately the penalty was denied.
But I think in all we played a very good game, I’m only worried that they didn’t score but I am happy that they created the chances and I’m sure that the next time they will make use of the chances. I think in all we deserved to win, we created more chances than them and the performance was good.” Ibrahim Tanko said in a post-match press conference.
