Head coach Abdul Karim Zito of Dreams FC spoke about his plans to beat Asante Kotoko in the week 14 Ghana Premier League action on Saturday at the Tuba Astroturf in Kasoa, Accra.
Dreams FC have not been in the best of shape, languishing in 17th place with 12 points from 13 Ghana Premier League matches played. In a pre-match press conference Zito, who steered Dreams to the CAF Confederation Cup semifinals last season, explains how his charges are geared towards facing the record Ghana Premier League title holders.
"We all saw Kotoko against Hearts of Oak. Tactically, technically, they are very sound. Physically, they are very sound. So, you have to draw your own program, the way to stop them and then make meaningful impact after stopping them."
"It's not you only stopping them. Stopping them and then, I guess, tracking and getting free to play. So, we have to apply it, track them, and get them free to play. We have to give them the necessary respect that is outside the game. But in the game, we know we are playing Kotoko. So, it's a big game for us.” Zito said.
Last season, Zito's squad chalked an impressive double over the Porcupine Warriors, winning both encounters without conceding a single goal. Dreams fc have struggled this season securing only two victories.
