Our compilations of goal contributions from African players has been dominated recently by the exploits of Mohamed Salah at Liverpool but veteran Senegalese striker Mame Thiam is deserving of a mention this week.
The 32-year-old moved to Italy as a child and spent time at Inter Milan and Juventus, going on loan frequently before finding a home in Turkish football since joining Kasimpasa in 2019. This season Thiam, currently at newly promoted Eyüpspor, is level with Victor Osimhen for third most goals in the Süper Lig with 10 strikes. His two goals and an assist this week continued Eyüpspor's surprise campaign as the club moved into 4th place on the table.
Watch Thiam's contributions as well as all African goals and assists from the English Premier League, Ligue 1, the Copa del Rey, Turkey and Portugal below.
