Boruissia Dortmund striker and Guinea international Serhou Guirassy has won his second UEFA Champions League Player of the Week accolade this season after his magnificent display in the quarterfinal second leg against Barcelona. Guirassy bagged a hat-trick in a 3-1 victory over the Spanish giants.

The UEFA Technical Observer team has also included the 29-year-old striker in the Team of the Week. UEFA credited Guirassy’s scoring prowess for his player of the week accolade. "So clinical in front of goal" was the concise verdict of the UEFA Technical Observer after the Guinean bowed out of this season's competition with his first Champions League hat-trick to return to the top of the scoring chart as he took his tally for an impressive debut campaign to 13 from 14 appearances.

Guirassy’s hat-trick was not enough for BVB to stage a comeback over Barcelona as they bowed out of the competition with a 3-5 aggregate defeat. Guirassy tops the scoring chart with 13 goals. He also won the UCL Player of the Week award in the Round of 32 when Dortmund beat Sporting CP 3-0 in the first leg from their clash.
