Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak have expressed delight in the signing of talented forward Seth Osei.
The Phobians confirmed the acquisition of the former Ashanti Gold SC star in an official statement on social media on Thursday, January 16.
The statement said: "The wait is over! Meet the newest addition to the Hearts of Oak family, Seth Osei! Get ready for exciting moments ahead," the club posted on X.
Seth Osei’s move to Hearts of Oak had been in the pipeline for weeks, with the player training with the team before finalising his switch. Though negotiations reportedly took longer than expected, the deal has now been sealed, adding another quality option to the Phobians' attack.
Having previously featured in the Ghana Premier League, Osei brings experience and technical ability that should help him settle in quickly at his new club.
His arrival is seen as a statement of intent from Hearts of Oak as they push to compete for both the Ghana Premier League title and the MTN FA Cup. Hearts of Oak will take on defending Ghana Premier League champions FC Samartex on Sunday, January 19 in the last game for the first round.
