Zambian striker Ingoma Mwanza has completed a move to Xerez Deportivo, a club competing in the Spanish Segunda RFEF, following an impressive spell at CD Azuaga.
The transfer comes at the player’s own request, marking the next chapter in his promising career. In a statement on the club’s official website, it stated:” Ingoma Mwanza (Zambia, 16 May 2000) becomes the third signing for Xerez Deportivo in the current transfer market. The player, who plays as a forward, arrives from CD Azuaga. He signs for the rest of the season and one more.
“During the current campaign, the footballer has played a total of 19 matches in which he has scored 14 goals in Group XIV of the Third Extremaduran Federation. These figures have earned him the interest of numerous clubs and youth teams in the First Division, although he has finally accepted the offer from Xerez.”
The statement continued: “Previously, the 24-year-old striker has played for other clubs such as Arnedo, La Solana, Varea, Agoncillo, Atlético Astorga and Madridejos.
“The player is already in the city and this Thursday he trained with his new teammates. At Xerez Deportivo we welcome Ingoma Mwanza and wish him every success during his new stage.”
This means Mwanza moves from the fifth Spanish Tier League into the fourth tier league.
