Ahmed Magdy, acting head coach of Zamalek's first football team, held a meeting with the players before Friday's training session at the club's stadium. The meeting was attended by Hazem Emam, the assistant coach, and Emad El-Mandoh, the goalkeeping coach, as part of the preparations for the upcoming match against Al Masry in the CAF Confederation Cup.

During his address, Magdy emphasized the importance of the next match against Al Masry, underlining the necessity of achieving victory and securing all three points. He urged the players to focus during this critical period and to put in their maximum effort.

Magdy also outlined the day's training program to the players before the session began.

Meanwhile, Zamalek players underwent fitness drills at the start of Friday's training session held at the club’s stadium, as part of their preparations for the upcoming match against Al Masry in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The players performed various physical exercises under the supervision of fitness coach Mario Tomljanović, which included diverse fitness drills alongside ball exercises.

Zamalek is gearing up to face Al Masry on Sunday at Borg El-Arab Stadium in the third round of the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.

This comes after Zamalek's former head coach, José Gomes, decided to leave the club and accept an offer from Saudi Arabia's Al Fateh.

Following Gomes' departure, Ahmed Magdy has temporarily taken charge of the team, assisted by Hazem Emam, with Emad El-Mandoh as the goalkeeping coach.
