The Ghana women's national team suffered a 1-0 loss against Senegal in the second of two international friendly matches between the teams on Tuesday, 8 April.
The Black Queens were coming from a 1-0 victory from their first clash at the same venue last Sunday but left it very late to succumb to the Teranga Lionesses by the same margin.
The Teranga Lionesses needed a late header from Hapsatou Diallo to bounce back from their initial defeat which was inflicted by Evelyn Badu’s header.
Ghana head coach Kim Lars Björkegren and his charges are in Senegal for a nine day training camp in preparation for the 2025 Women's Africa Cup of Nations to hosted by Morocco in July.
The two international friendlies form part of the Ghana Football Association’s quest to build a formidable team for the Women's AFCON and future assignments.
