CS Constantine head coach Kheireddine Madoui is expecting the support of the club’s fans ahead of their upcoming match against Morocco’s RS Berkane.

CSC will visit RS Berkane on Sunday, April 20 at 19:00 GMT for the first leg of their CAF Confederation Cup semifinal clash.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, the Algerian coach said: “We’ve had normal preparations for the match and we are fully ready, both mentally and physically. We have great confidence in the group to give their best on the pitch.”

Madoui added: “We are fully aware of the strength of RS Berkane. They are an experienced team led by a coach with great knowledge of African competitions. The match will be a true North African derby, and it will be decided by small details. Victory will go to the team that makes fewer mistakes and stays more focused.”

He also extended his thanks to the Algerian consulate in Morocco: “We express our sincere thanks and gratitude to the Algerian consulate in Oujda, especially His Excellency the Consul and his deputy, for the warm welcome, kind hospitality, and for providing all the suitable conditions for our delegation.”

Madoui concluded: “We’re expecting strong fan support as always. Our fans are known for their loyalty and constant travel with the team, whether inside Algeria or abroad. Their presence always gives us the biggest motivation.”

CSC forward Dadi Mouaki also spoke at the press conference: "As players, we are fully aware of the responsibility on our shoulders, and we know exactly what awaits us in this decisive stage. We will give our utmost in the first leg to achieve a positive result against a strong and respectable opponent."

He added: "We are expecting massive support from our number one player — our loyal fans. We know they will be our biggest strength, both here and in the return leg on home soil. God willing, we’ll make them proud and reach the final."
