Ivory Coast to play the first ever Canada Shield in June 2025

Ivory Coast will participate in the first-ever Canada Shield, a new international friendly tournament taking place next June in Toronto, Canada.


This first edition of the competition will feature four national teams: Canada, Ukraine, Ivory Coast, and New Zealand.


The tournament will be played at BMO Field, one of the premier stadiums in Canada, from June 7 to June 10, 2025.


It will be a good experience for Ivory Coast ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which Canada is co-hosting alongside the United States and Mexico.


Tournament Fixtures and Schedule:


The Canada Shield will feature two matchdays, with each team playing two games.


All matches will be played at BMO Field, Toronto, Canada.


Below is the schedule with both Toronto time (EDT) and GMT.


June 7, 2025


Canada vs. Ukraine – 3:30 PM Toronto Time (EDT) / 7:30 PM GMT


Ivory Coast vs. New Zealand – 7:00 PM Toronto Time (EDT) / 11:00 PM GMT


June 10, 2025


New Zealand vs. Ukraine – 5:00 PM Toronto Time (EDT) / 9:00 PM GMT


Canada vs. Ivory Coast – 8:30 PM Toronto Time (EDT) / 12:30 AM GMT (June 11)
