Ghanaian forward Jonathan Sowah continued his blistering for Tanzanian club Singida Black Stars, scoring on Thursday in their latest Mainland Premier League match.

The former Medeama SC attacker scored his second goal in three matches as Singida Black Stars defeated JKT Tanzania SC on Thursday. Sowah scored a second half winner as Singida left the Major General Isamuyo Stadium with all three points.

The victory keeps Singida Black Stars to fourth on the table, ahead of their next game against giants Young Africans. Sowah, who was named Man of the Match against JKT, is brimming with confidence ahead of the game.

"Yanga is like my home, even when they came to Singida I told them that, the president of Yanga is like an angel to me, he is a father to me, he is a very good human being and I believe that one day I will play for Yanga, there is no doubt that it is just a matter of time," said the Ghanaian forward.

Sowah, 25, joined Singida Black Stars from Libya outfit Al Nassr Benghazi after winning the 2023-24 Libyan Premier League title. He previously starred with Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC where he scored 12 goals during the 2022-23 campaign as the club won the title and reached the CAF Champions League group stage the following season.
