Ghana defender Joseph Attamah Larweh was in a fine form for Turkey Super Lig club, Kayserispor in their 1-1 draw at Eyupspor on Sunday.

An eventful first half between the two clubs produced no goals matching into the half time break for match day 23 for the home side and 22 for the visitors in the season.

The second half of the game came with tactical changes and more energy from both sides but it was the home club, Eyupspor which shot ahead with the opener. Turkey winger, Emre Mor who is on loan from Fenerbahce powered the Eyupspor into the lead with 56 minutes played.

They held on to the lead, looking good in midfield and in front of goal but the visitors held their guards with great clearance at the back of which Attamah was key. Kayserispor found joy at the eleventh hour when Attamah rose to the occasion to rescue a point away.

The 30-year-old’s surge from right back into attack proved successful with a 90+2 minute goal, earning them a point.

Kayserispor per the drawn game sit in the relegation zone of 16th on 21 points from 22 matches while Eyupspor are comfortably locked in a Europa Conference League spot of 4th on 40 points from 23 games.
