JS Kabylie denies rumors about Ryad Boudebouz

JS Kabylie has officially denied recent rumors regarding Ryad Boudebouz, clarifying that the player has never refused to play on synthetic pitches or in physically high demanding matches.


In a statement, the Algeria Ligue 1 club confirmed that Boudebouz is currently being treated for a calf injury with the club closely monitoring his recovery to ensure his return in best possible conditions.


The club emphasize that Boudeboouz is an exemplary player, serious and fully committed to the club and indicated that his professionalism and dedication to JSK no longer need to be proven. JS Kabylie also expressed gratitude for the unwavering support for both Boudebouz and the entire team.


Boudebouz has played 14 matches this season with JS Kabylie, scoring 5 goals and providing 3 assists. He joined the team in September on a free transfer from Ohod Club (Saudi Arabia).


Before that, Boudebouz played for several clubs, including Real Betis (Spain), RC Celta de Vigo (Spain), AS Saint-Étienne (France), Montpellier HSC (France), FC Sochaux-Montbéliard (France ) and Al-Ahli Saudi FC.


On the international level, Boudebouz played 25 matches with the Algeria senior national team, scoring two goals. He also represented France U-19, playing 10 matches and scoring one goal, as well as France U-17, where he played two matches.
