Kaizer Chiefs defender Dillan Solomons has revealed what they need to do to get maximum points from their Betway Premiership fixture against TS Galaxy at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday.

Amakhosi will head into the fixture having suffered a 2-1 defeat against Golden Arrows in their last assignment. According to Solomons, they have put their disappointing results behind them and are only looking forward to improving in the remaining games of the season.

“The last two games didn’t go our way but we have to stay focused on the games coming up, and we are just looking forward to taking on TS Galaxy in our home game in Polokwane and hopefully we can go there and get three points,” said Solomons as quoted by the club’a official website.

“They are a good team; we know what they possess in terms of the type of players they have and the kind of football they play, so we have a reasonable idea of what they are going to try to do. We just need to nullify whatever attacking plans they have, and obviously try to score some goals ourselves.”

He further assured fans of a good ending: “Obviously we know where they are coming from; it’s a place of love and we know they want us to do well. But the way we see it, we aren’t that far away. If we win a few games we’ll be back up there, and that is our primary objective.

“We remain focused on the remaining games in the season, irrespective of our league position. For us, it’s all about building consistency. The (Nedbank) Cup is there to be won but we take each game as it comes so we can’t focus on the cup right now. We have to concentrate on TS Galaxy.”

The Rockets currently lie fourth in the table, four places above Amakhosi.
