The mid-season transfer window, which kicked off on January 1, 2025, officially closed on 1st February 2025 with KCCA FC making notable adjustments to their squad.
Among the key departures, left-back Ibrahim Juma and teenage forward Abu Mayanja have left the club. Juma Parts Ways with KCCA FC Promising left-back Ibrahim Juma has mutually agreed to terminate his contract with KCCA FC.
Juma, who came through the club’s development ranks had been a regular presence in the team’s setup. However, both parties have opted for an amicable departure.
Abu Mayanja Declines Contract Renewal Teenage forward Abu Mayanja has also exited KCCA FC after his minor’s contract expired. Having signed the deal at the start of the 2023/24 season, the contract was valid until he turned 18 on December 12, 2024.
The youngster has chosen not to extend his stay, marking the end of his journey with the club. Other January Departures Forward Ssenoga Kagawa Muhammed and South Sudan international Emmanuel Loki have also mutually terminated their contracts.
Elvis Eddy Mwanje and Joseph Ogwang remain absent without leave, prompting disciplinary action from the club.
With these departures, KCCA looks forward to integrating Umar Lutalo their new signing from Kitara FC while also nurturing academy prospects Yian Gatbel and Brain Jjara who have been handed minor contracts.
