Nigeria international, Leon Balogun has expressed his readiness to offer his services to the Super Eagles if he is re-called by the national selectors for the all-important World Cup qualifiers.

The Super Eagles find themselves in a tough spot, sitting fifth in their group with just three points from four matches.

With the qualifiers resuming in March, the team will aim to turn their fortunes around under the guidance of new manager, Eric Chelle. In an exclusive interview with Brila.net, Balogun, who last featured for Nigeria in 2022, expressed his unflinching commitment to the national team.

“If I’m involved in some type of way, you know you’re going to get 110% from me always, and I’ll try to push that onto the rest,” Balogun stated.

“Whether I’m playing from the bench, I don’t care. For me, my personal target when it comes to Nigeria is to get back in the squad as soon as possible to be of help.”

The 36-year-old defender has been a key figure for Scottish side Rangers this season, featuring in 19 matches across all competitions.
