Ligue 1: Another season, another title! Hakimi and PSG secure fourth consecutive domestic crown

Paris Saint-Germain retained the championship on Saturday in France's Ligue with a 1-0 home victory over Angers at the Parc des Princes.
Georgian superstar Khvicha Kvaratskhelia set up Désiré Doué for the only goal of the match in the 55th minute, enough for PSG to stroll to a victory that was more dominant than the score indicated. It is PSG's fourth consecutive Ligue 1 title and the Parisian giants' tenth top flight conquest in the last twelve seasons.
Moroccan right back Achraf Hakimi played the full match for PSG, for whom he remains a constant presence when healthy. Hakimi has 5 goals and 12 assists in 38 matches across all competitions Les Parisiens.
After stunning English Premier League club Liverpool in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League, PSG continue to focus on achieving continental supremacy which seems more possible than ever after numerous disappointments in previous knockout stages. PSG are also heavy favorites to capture a second consecutive Coupe de France after advancing to the final earlier this week where Stade de Reims await on May 24.
Next week manager Luis Enrique's side will begin their Champions League quarterfinal clash against another English club, Aston Villa, with the first leg set for Wednesday at the Parc des Princes. PSG are heavy favorites to progress but must remain focused with a potential duel against Arsenal or Real Madrid ahead if they advance to the semifinals.
