Michael "Skills" Lukyamuzi was unveiled as the new head coach of FUFA Big League side Kiyinda Boys Football Club at the end of last week.
Lukyamuzi, a CAF "B" certified coach, joins the club after parting ways with Boma Football Club and replaces Issa Sserwanja. He is expected to bring stability, expertise and leadership to the dressing room as Kiyinda Boys look to improve their fortunes in the second round of the 2024/25 season.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Lukyamuzi stated: "I am excited to come to Kiyinda Boys Football Club and look forward to a good time. We have new signings, myself inclusive. We need to work hard in this second round."
Lukyamuzi has built a strong reputation for his tactical knowledge, match preparation and man-management skills. He played a key role in guiding NEC FC to the StarTimes FUFA Big League as well the Uganda Premier League and also led Buddu to the 2022 Buganda Masaza Cup final, where they finished as runners-up to Gomba.
