Another full slate of matches on Saturday in the American top division, Major League Soccer, saw African goal contributions from Cameroonian forward Eric Choupo-Moting as well as Ivory Coast's Jonathan Bamba in the early matches.

Choupo-Moting's New York Red Bulls took a point from their clash against Orlando City, which ended in a 2-2 draw. It was a back-and-forth affair with visitors Orlando opening the scoring in the 18th minute before the Red Bulls won a penalty kick before the half hour mark. Enter the Cameroonian...

The teams went on to exchange goals once again with Red Bulls' Dennis Gjengaar scoring a leveler early in the second half to leave the teams sharing the spoils. Saturday marked Choupo-Moting's first goal in four matches as a Red Bull and it appears that the Indomitable Lion is proving to be a good acquisition so far.

Across the northern border in Toronto, Chicago Fire earned all three points in a 2-1 victory against Canadian side Toronto FC. Ivorian winger Jonathan Bamba was a big money signing for the rebuilding Fire and after the visitors conceded early, the former Celta Vigo player won the ball to set up Andrew Gutman's rocket from distance.

Fire striker Hugo Cuypers scored the match winner before halftime to make it two victories in a row. Bamba is playing his part so far this season with three assists in four matches.
