Mighty Mukuru Wanderers land 888bets kit sponsorship Malawi's second most followed football team Mighty Mukuru Wanderers have landed a lucrative 60,000 USD kit sponsorship by 888bets.
Wanderers unveiled the betting company as their partner on Saturday, January 18 2025 in Blantyre. 888bets Malawi's Country Manager, Clement Kwesi said his company has pumped in 60,000 USD (100 million Malawi Kwacha) into the kit sponsorship to leverage on the potential of the Wanderers brand.
"As a brand, we are happy to associate ourselves themselves with a big football brand in Malawi," he said. Kwesi said he believes the sponsorship would motivate the club to win more silverware in the 2025 season.
Wanderers Director, Dr. Andrex Kalinde, said 888bets' sponsorship proves that the Nomads are a big brand in Malawi football circles. "Mighty Wanderers is a vibrant brand which the corporate world is keen to associate with," he said.
